Information we receive

When you request a free guide, we record the first name and email address, the guide requested, the date of the request, and your marketing preference. Basic hosting and security logs may also record technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested downloads, respond to questions, deliver purchases and support, improve products and services, protect the website, maintain accurate email preferences, and send product updates, discounts, or announcements only when the recipient has chosen to receive them.
Free-guide and marketing choices
A first name and email address are required to unlock certain free guides. Marketing consent is separate and optional. Leaving the marketing box unchecked means guide access only. A person who chooses marketing may withdraw that choice through the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting Powered by Guage.
Opt-outs and suppression records
When someone unsubscribes, Powered by Guage may retain the email address on a suppression record so it is not accidentally added back to a marketing list. Opted-out addresses are not used for future marketing.
